The disaster of the serious refugee situation in the horn of Africa following the internal strife of Somalia, has been in focus for Swedish assistance for many years. SIDA has, in collaboration with the Nordic Africa Institute, commissioned the Refugee Studies Programme at the University of Oxford to summarize available information from research, studies and evaluations with reference to this particular area. The result is presented in this third issue of "Studies on Emergencies and Disaster Relief".
